New Year, New Me, New Habits

Welcome to 2017; We made it!
I generally do not make New Year’s resolutions. I find that once I’ve proclaimed my list of to-dos for the New Year, I get super motivated for the first few weeks (maybe a couple of months, if I’m lucky) and then inevitably, it all falls by the wayside. I believe that’s true for most of us, right? (I hope it’s not just me.) So basically I’ve given up on making resolutions! Well, sort of.
This year I feel particularly excited and pumped for the year to come because I’m trying something different. This year, it’s all about changing my habits. Instead of listing specific goals (i.e. lose weight, learn a new language, etc.), I’m focusing on better habits. I know that this will inevitably give me a better chance of actually achieving my goals for the year and beyond. Here’s what I’ve come up with…
5 Essential Habits for Success in Life
- less talking, more ACTION
- NO more EXCUSES
- block NEGATIVITY (from self & others)
- don’t ever SETTLE
- daily ‘ME’ time
